Compositing in After Effects vs. Nuke

To all you post-production folks out there, I caught this interesting video the other day and wondered what your take on the subject was?

One commenter pointed out that “you can view the AE timeline as nodes, double-click on a layer and view it, play with multiple views, [and] lock them.” to which the poster (who claims to not have a preference, yet clearly does) replied by saying that “one [application] isn’t necessarily ‘better’ than the other. But they do have different strengths.”
